Agent Selection Checklist
CataList Homes has created this checklist to assist home buyers in choosing a competent and professional agent. Print this checklist and ask the right questions.

Note: It is advisable to sign an agency agreement with a Realtor. These agreements protect your Realtor from losing income when working on your behalf. You will find real estate agents work harder for people that are loyal customers. Loyalty is a two way street. Your agent will have a legal responsibility to represent your best interests under the agency agreement.
You should make sure your Realtor show you all homes for sale, not just ones that earn them the most commission.
Remember there is a big difference between good and bad buyer agents. Find pre-screened buyer agents in your market area by using our Buyer Agent Hall of Fame.
